Services, buffers and prices
Set what customers can book, how long it takes and the time you need between appointments.
Go to Services in the dashboard.
What each setting does
- Duration — how long the appointment itself takes.
- Buffer after — time blocked after each appointment, for travel, cleanup or notes. Customers never see it as free time. For mobile businesses this is your travel time between jobs.
- Buffer before — time blocked before each appointment, for setup or preparation.
- Start times every — how often appointments can start. Leave it empty to use the duration (a 60-minute service starts on the hour); set 30 to allow half-hour starts.
- Price — shown on your booking page in your business currency (choose it under Settings → General). Enter 0 for free services. Payments aren't taken online yet. Changing the currency relabels your prices; it doesn't convert them.
- Who performs it — only these people can be booked for the service.
- Bookable online — untick to hide a service from your booking page without deleting it.
How buffers protect your day
If an exterior wash takes 90 minutes with a 30-minute buffer after, a 9:00 booking blocks 9:00–11:00. The next customer can book from 11:00 at the earliest. Buffers are checked by our server every time someone books, so they can't be skipped.
Removing a service
Remove deletes a service that has never been booked. If it has bookings, it's archived instead so your history stays intact.
